LEADERSHIP

David Valaer, CEO & Founder

David is passionate about transforming how aircraft move on the ground and redefining what’s possible in aviation sustainability. With decades of experience in aerospace engineering, certification, and operations, he brings both technical depth and a clear vision for the industry’s future.

David founded Green Taxi Aerospace to solve one of aviation’s most overlooked challenges — the cost, emissions, and safety risks of engine-powered taxiing. Under his leadership, the company is advancing Zero Engine Taxi™ as a practical, retrofit solution that delivers immediate impact for airlines and airports worldwide.

Known for his collaborative approach, David builds bridges between airlines, lessors, OEMs, and regulators to drive adoption of technologies that make aviation safer, more efficient, and aligned with Net Zero goals. His leadership reflects a simple but powerful belief: meaningful change in aviation starts on the ground.
